Who we are

In 2022, we launched a Facebook group with the aim of connecting student media editors, writers, reporters, publication directors, and contributors from universities across Australia.

Our group serves as a hub for coordinating coverage on national events, sharing campus stories that could resonate with others, and seeking support from fellow student media on operational issues. We laid the foundation of STUDENT MEDIA NETWORK (SMN) by bringing onboard editorial teams from various publications across the country.

This year, we're eager to build upon that momentum to provide even more support and resources to student media teams across Australia; with our Student Media Conference this September in Sydney.

If you are a student media publication, we'd love for you to be a part of STUDENT MEDIA NETWORK!
